MSME funds distributed

The funds for grants issued under the Ministry of MSME Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries are being distributed to various polling stations of Andro assembly constituency.

To generate income for daily wages earners amid the lockdown of COVID-19, chairman of United NGO forum Keisham Ningthemjao on Monday distributed funds for various grants issued under ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME).

The funds for grants issued under the Ministry of MSME Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries are being distributed to various polling stations of Andro assembly constituency.

A sum of Rs 50,000 was distributed to the clusters formed by 10 people each of Ward No VII,  XXIV, XXV, and XXVI of the said assembly constituency by Keisham Ningthemjao Singh.

Meanwhile, Ningthemjao donated food to the community quarantine center located at Ningthounai.

The United NGO forum along with the state Forest department in collaboration with the wildlife and biodiversity joint committee, has been celebrating World Environment Day since June 21. In connection with the celebration, various tree saplings have been planted at various areas of the assembly constituency.

Speaking to the media during the programme conducted at Yairipok Bishnunaha cannal, Ningthemjao said the benefit of MSME grants will be made available for the daily wages earners of the area.
