IRB candidates set deadline to declare result of vice-voce, warn to carry out protest

All Manipur Hills Area 10th and 11th Indian Reserve Battalion candidates, 2019 have stated that simultaneous protests will be demonstrated if the state government fails to declare their recruitment result by June 20.

All Manipur Hills Area 10th and 11th Indian Reserve Battalion candidates, 2019 have stated that simultaneous protests will be demonstrated if the state government fails to declare their recruitment result by June 20.

In a press note jointly signed by secretary Jangminlun Khongsai and president Awungsh Leishipem of the group of candidates, it mentioned that in continuation of the latest stages of recruitment of the 10th and 11th IRB, which was conducted January 2019, the candidates are expecting that the result for vice-voce of riflemen will be declared soon. Moreover, the date for commencement of vice-voce for Jemadar should be declared, it added.

It said that the demands are not only for the hills area candidates but also for all the candidates of the recruitment regardless of caste and creed.

All the candidates from both hills and valley will take up a simultaneous protest in the state if the government fails to fulfil their demands within the deadline, and the state government should be held responsible for any setback resulting from the protest demonstration, it added.
