The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) on Monday announced that absconder private Baongam Gondaimei son of Nambuanjin Gondaimei of Marangjing (Makhuam) Part IV has been terminated from the active service of Zeliangrong Tiger Force ZTF.
ZTF which is the armed wing of ZUF had recaptured absconder private Baongam Gondaimei son of Nambuanjin Gondaimei of Marangjing (Makhuam) Part IV and was detained under secured custody, stated a release signed by information and publicity secretary KD Gangmei.
After completion of the process of prosecution, he has been terminated from the active service of ZTF with all clearance, it added.
He was duly handed over to the family members in presence of the Village Authority Chairman, Pei (Village Court) Secretary, and Village Youth president as witnesses, the release stated.
“The gravity of the act committed by him deserved a capital punishment; however, on humanitarian consideration and understanding of his having a wife and children and earnest requests made by the leaders concern, and considering him as our own blood, he was granted pardon and safely released on this day of June 7 2021,” ZUF stated.
The terminated cadre upon his personal volition and expression as duly established shall refrain and abstain from all related activities of the organisation and keep the confidence of the authority in the fear of God, it added.
