The Directorate of Family Welfare Services on Saturday announced the names of permanent Covid Vaccination Centres (CVCs) for all the districts in the state.
Except for Sundays, the CVCs will be open on all days from 10. 30 am to 3 pm with provision to extend the time period beyond 3 pm if there are beneficiaries waiting to be vaccinated, stated a memorandum issued by state nodal officer-immunisation Dr T Manihar Singh on Saturday.
The district hospital (DH) Bishnupur, Community Health Centre (CHC) Moirang and Community Health Centre (CHC) Nambol (except on Tuesdays and Thursdays for CHC Nambol) will be the permanent vaccination centres for Bishnupur district as per the memorandum.
The district hospital Chandel, CHC Chakpikarong and Primary Health Centre (PHC) Komlathabi will be the permanent centres for Chandel district, it mentioned. CHC Kakching, CHC Sugnu and Upper Primary Health Centre Kakching will be the vaccination centres in Kakching district, it stated.
In Churachandpur district, the district hospital, PHC Saikot and CHC Singhat will be the vaccination centres. For Pherzawl district, CHC Parbung, PHC Thanlon will be the vaccination centres as per the memorandum.
It further stated that Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), PHC Sawombung and PHC Bashikhong will be the centres in Imphal East while Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), RD Wing, CVC Manipur University in imphal West will be the permanent vaccination centres for the district. District Hospital Jiribam and Primary Health Sub Centre Chandranathpur will be the centres for Jiribam district, it stated.
CHC Kamjong, PHC Kasom Khullen and PHC Phungyar will be the centres in Kamjong district. In Ukhrul district, the district hospital and the old district hospital Kamphasom will be the vaccination centres, it stated.
In Kangpokpi district, CHC Kangpokpi, PHC Saikul, PHC Motbung will be the centres. Senapati district hospital Mao, PHC Mao and Mini Stadium district headquarters Senapati will be the centres for Senapati district, it mentioned.
In Noney, CHC Nungba, PHC Noney and PHC Khoupum will be the centres. In Tamenglong district, the district hospital, PHC Tamei, PHC Oinamlong will be the permanent centres, the memorandum stated.
In Tengnoupal district, Health and Wellness Centre Aimol Tampak and PHC Moreh will be the centres. In Thoubal district, the district hospital, PHC Lilong and CHC Yairipok will be the vaccination centres, it added.
