The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Thoubal organised an online legal awareness programme on the topic ‘Child Care and Protection during COVID-19 Pandemic’ on Friday.
The webinar was conducted through Jitsi Meet App and it was participated by district and sessions judge and chairman DLSA Thoubal, Aribam Noutuneshwari Devi; chief judicial magistrate and secretary of DLSA Thoubal, Athokpam Santa Devi; chairperson of CWC, Imphal West, advocate Thiyam Rajkishore Singh; judicial magistrate first class, Thoubal, Sharda Yengkhom; and judicial magiatrate first class, Kakching, Laishram Bony Singh.
Police personnel and investigating officers of Woman Police, Thoubal and Kakching; chairpersons and members of Child Welfare Committee, Thoubal and Kakching; and advocates and para legal volunteers of various legal aid clinics in Thoubal also took part in the online legal awareness programme.T
