In order to assist the home to tide over the lockdown induced difficulties, essential commodities, masks, gloves, sanitizers and daily use items were provided to the children, it stated.

The children were also educated about COVID-19 protocols like maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks and regular washing of hands to safeguard themselves, it mentioned.
