Churachandpur reports highest COVID-19 spike in hill districts

The task force under each village authority has sealed the respective approach roads of their villages. They have been supplied with PPEs, Sanitisers, masks etc. through the authorities of each district.

Churachandpur district reported 90 positive cases (55 males and 35 females) while 356 results are awaited as per reports from IDSP Churachandpur received on Saturday with one death at Sialmat, Churachandpur.

Meanwhile, village task forces, which have been established in many places to contain the spread, are working on enforcing the lockdown.

They have been supplied with PPEs, Sanitisers, masks etc. through the authorities of each district. Their task is to ensure that Covid appropriate behaviour is followed and assist those in the need of health workers and others as per order from the state government.

On Saturday morning, the police fined 93 individuals for breaking the lockdown rules and fines of Rs 41,000 were collected from the violators.
