Manipur Deputy CM condoles death of Vivek Raj Wangkhem ​​​​​​​

The deputy CM, in a release, expressed deep sorrow on hearing the death of NPP national general secretary Vivek Raj Wangkhem.

Manipur Deputy Chief Minister and national vice-president of the National People's Party (NPP), Yumnam Joykumar Singh, extended condolences on the demise of NPP national general secretary Vivek Raj Wangkhem.

The deputy CM, in a release, expressed deep sorrow on hearing the death of Vivek Raj Wangkhem.

It stated that Vivek Raj was hospitalised in Delhi on being tested COVID-19 positive and was receiving treatment there. He suffered a massive cardiac arrest on Monday morning and passed away. The party has lost a dynamic and capable leader, it added.

"My deepest sympathies go out to his family and pray that God will grant them the strength to overcome this great loss,” said Joykumar in the release.
