Nungba SDO out of station for three-four months: NAVAA

Amid the alarming rise in COVID-19 positive cases during the second wave in Manipur, it is very unfortunate to learn that the SDO/SDM Nungba is not present at his station, the Nungba Area Village Authority Association stated.

Nungba Area Village Authority Association (NAVAA) alleged that the SDO/SDM of Nungba sub-division has been out of station for the last three-four consecutive months leaving its denizens in grave situation during the COVID-19 second wave.

Moreover, due to lack of proper medical equipment and facilities at Community Health Centre, Nungba, the denizen of the district and its surrounding areas are worried and it has created tensions and great havoc to the denizens of the particular areas, said NAVAA in a release.

It stated that amid the alarming rise in COVID-19 positive cases during the second wave in Manipur, it is very unfortunate to learn that the SDO/SDM Nungba is not present at his station.

Urging the concerned authority to look into the matter immediately, the release appealed to the SDO/SDM, Nungba sub-division to be at the station in such a critical situation in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
