Three more oxygen cylinders were brought at the 50-bedded hospital in Ningshing village, Jiribam district after 12 cylinders of 65 kg D-Type Oxygen were earlier bought from Assam by Jiribam district administration on May 6.
The oxygen cylinders were procured under the supervision of Jiribam DC W Malemnganba Chenglei.
DC Malemnganba had earlier expressed that the district administration Jiribam will assist the state government by bringing in more oxygen from Assam to ensure that there are no shortages of medical use oxygen in the state,
He said the state government has been putting all efforts to make sure that there is an adequate supply of medical use oxygen.
The cylinders were received in the presence of District Police Jiribam SP Ganashyam Sharma, SDO S Indrajit Singh and CMO Dr E Okendro Singh.
