Members of Thoubal District Working Journalists Union along with 12 journalists of various media houses in the district inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday at Urban Primary Health Centre in Phouden, Thoubal district.

In connection to this, president of Thoubal District Working Journalist Union Soibam Binoy told the media persons that the state government treating journalists as frontline workers is an honour.

He also appreciated MO in-charge of Phouden Urban Primary Health Centre, Dr Mutum Rakesh for carrying out the vaccination programme for journalists under the aegis of CMO, Thoubal and district family welfare officer.
