Why do thou exist?
So hellish you are,
That our joys spoil, you.
Deprive you the world,
Of delight, and happiness,
As a brute snatching a child's toy.
Virulent and fierce is the
Virus, Ah, my friend,it's also hidden.
We don't know where you are,
Threatened are we greatly,
Why do you make us,
Your enemies?
Did we,in any way,harm you?
Peace,
Peace,let us make peace,
And sign an Armistice.
Better had been my days,
Ere you came from nowhere,
Now I am no longer what I was,
Always struck I am ,
By a pain,
I aspire to enjoy,
But damn it by you,
Like a bone struck,
Inside the throat.
Gone are the days of blithe,
Now the worries I harbour,
Is offset by the memory,
Of gladful days.
Whence look I at an,
Old photograph,
The memory gives joy,
And wipe out my sorrow present,
Following my gladness past,
For some moments precious.
