YAS department organises COVID-19 vaccination camp

Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS), Government of Manipur organised a COVID-19 Vaccination Camp for its staff, sportspersons and willing beneficiaries under the department at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium on Wednesday.

The camp was conducted by an expert team of medical professionals from the office of CMO, Imphal East, along with staff from the department of YAS, stated a release. Strictly adhering to COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Health ministry, the infrastructure of the Indoor Stadium was used for the vaccination camp in order to ensure sufficient waiting space, registration area, observation rooms and vaccination area, it stated.

A total of 266 beneficiaries were registered in the ‘Co-WIN’ portal and vaccinated at the camp, it stated, mentioning that all registered and vaccinated beneficiaries will be given ‘first dose vaccination certifications’ by the YAS department.
