Nagaland COVID-19 tally crosses 13000-mark

The state reported 114 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

Nagaland's COVID-19 confirmed tally reached 13,003 as the state recorded 114 new positive cases of coronavirus on Saturday, state Health Minister S Pangyu Phom said in a tweet.

The health minister said that Dimapur reported the highest number of cases with 101, followed by Phek district with seven and Kohima with four. The other two cases were reported from Mokokchung, he added.

With the new positive cases, the number of COVID-19 active cases also increased to 555, Phom said in a tweet.

"Update! 114 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today. 101 in Dimapur, 4 in Kohima, 2 in Mokokchung, 7 in Phek, Cumulative 1. Total Cases:13003, 2. Active cases: 555, 3. Recovered: 12117" the health minister tweeted.

As many as 94 COVID-19 patients have died in Nagaland so far. However, 10 deaths were not related to COVID-19, the state health department said, adding 206 cases have migrated to other states.
