Churachandpur district CMO Dr Vumchinpau Tonsing has strongly condemned the attack on medical staff by bandh supporters at Phiugakchau while they were proceeding to Churachandpur for COVID-19 vaccination drive at Saikot PHC.

Saying that such an incident had never happened in the past, the CMO said the attack led to injury of two medical staff. The vehicle used by the medical team bearing MN 01K 9669 was also attacked, Dr Tonsing said.
