Manipur Governor Najma Heptullah in an order on Saturday announced the appointment of the new vice-chancellor of the varsity.

N Rajmuhon Singh has been appointed as VC of Dhanamanjuri University for a period of five years with effect from the date he takes over charge or until he attains the age of 70 years whichever is earlier, the governor stated in the order.
