UPRFM celebrates 3rd raising day

UPRFM paid respects to frontline workers who are working round the clock in the fight against COVID-19.

The UPRFM (United People’s Revolutionary Front of Manipur) has stated that its 3rd raising day, which falls on Thursday, was observed at its general headquarter, divisional and sectoral areas with various programmes along with the participation of its cadres and the public.  

The main celebration was held at the general headquarter of the organisation with the attendance of chairman T Bhudhi alias Tamnganba, vice chairman N Romen alias Nongpok and organisation secretary S Maipak alias Laba as president, a release signed by information and publicity secretary Rolin stated.

As a part of the observation, the flag of the organisation was hoisted while its anthem was performed to pay respects at the flag, it stated. Afterwards, the chairman spoke about the necessary quality and characteristics of the cadres and motivated them, it added. He recalled the aims and objectives of the organisation and the duties of the cadres in the movement for self determination, the release stated.

As a part of the occasion, organisation secretary, S Maipak announced that a Valley Task Wing of UPRFM has been created, it added.
