Churachandpur traffic police to take legal action against violators failing to collect documents

Churachandpur Traffic Control Police informed to all concerned to collect their driving licences and others documents from TCP office on or before April 30.

The Traffic Control Police (TCP) in Churachandpur on Monday collected a total fine amounting to Rs 5,200 from traffice violators, sources said.

TCP Churachandpur said that this year 17 driving licences and 20 registration certificates were seized so far which included violation of  SOPs in public places or while driving on the road.

Starting from 2019 till date, TCP Churachandpur has seized 94 driving licenses (42 Smart Cards and 52 Non-Smart) and 78 vehicle registration certificates (23 Smart Cards and 55 Non-Smart or Booklets). The seized documents are still lying at the office of the TCP and the owners did not bother to collect them, it added.

It further informed to all the concerned to collect their driving licences and others documents from TCP office on or before April 30, failing which TCP will be constrained to take necessary legal action against the license holders and handover the same to the District Transport Office (DTO) for cancellation of the licences.
