An assessment camp for Unique Disability ID (UDID) was organised by chief medical officer, Churachandpur and District Hospital Churachandpur, in collaboration with Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Manipur and Centre for Community Initiative on Wednesday at the district hospital.

The assessment camp was specifically organised for differently abled persons who are already registered with necessary documents on the official website of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

About 200 persons out of the 507 pending registered applicants turned up at the camp. Counters of Psychiatry of intellectual disability, Orthopaedic, Eye, ENT and PMR were opened for assessment led by doctors from the district hospitals, aided by CCI staff.
