Manipur University postpones BVoc exam after student tests positive for COVID-19

The controller of examinations Ng Nimai notified that the ongoing BVoc 1st, 3rd and 5th semester examination, 2020 (Nov) (New Course) scheduled from Friday onwards has been postponed until further orders.

Following the detection of a COVID-19 positive student among those appearing for BVoc examination, the Manipur University (MU) has postponed the ongoing BVoc 1st, 3rd and 5th semester examinations (New Course).

MU registrar W Chandbabu on Thursday issued a circular that one of the students of BVoc who appeared BVoc 5th semester examination Tuesday at Room No 437 (Lecture Hall No 3 of the New Social Sciences Block, 3rd Floor) has been found to be COVID-19 positive. 

It advised all the students who were in the same room on the day of the examination to do self-quarantine for about a week. Further, all the employees and students are requested to maintain SOPs properly, it urged.
