A one-day training cum awareness programme on banana fibre organised by weaver cell BJP, Manipur Pradesh was conducted at Kiyam Siphai Mamang Leikai, Thoubal district on Wednesday.

The training programme was held under the sponsorship of Directorate of Handlooms and Textiles, Government of Manipur. Altogether 50 women of the locality participated in the programme.

Convenor Weaver cell, BJP Manipur Pradesh Sorojini Laimayum attended the programme as chief guest while social worker P Shanti Devi as president and instructor M Victoriya Devi attended as guest of honour in the programme.
