Two more persons, including one flight passenger, tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur on Tuesday, the state health department said.
With the new positive cases, the state's caseload mounted to 29,393, including 28,952 recovered cases and 374 deaths, a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room stated.
The two new positive cases on Tuesday included one each from Kangpokpi and Ukhrul. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the release stated.
The state health department also informed air passengers who travelled to Manipur on March 27 by Indigo flight 6E-2019 seated in rows 9-14, 22-28 and by Air Asia flight 15-7008, seated in rows 12-18 to call COVID-19 Common Control Room at 1800343818 or respective district surveillance officers (DSO).
Meanwhile, 14 more persons were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Manipur. The cumulative number of people vaccinated in the state is 85,731, including 31,592 healthcare workers, the release added.
