Major General Alok Naresh, IGAR (South) and all ranks of Assam Rifles have extended warm greetings and sincere goodwill to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of ‘Yaoshang’.

A release by IGAR (South) prayed that the festival heralds an era of peace, progress and prosperity in the region.

The Assam Rifles fraternity also wished that the festival of colours enhances the spirit of unity, cohesiveness and brotherhood amongst all the communities in the state.
