Manipur: Air passengers told to contact COVID-19 Control Room

Three more COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Manipur on Saturday.

Air passengers who travelled to Manipur on March 27 by Indigo flight 6E-2019 seated in rows 9-14, 22-28 and by Air Asia flight 15, seated in rows 12-18 are informed to call COVID-19 Common Control Room at 1800343818 or respective district surveillance officers (DSO).

Three more persons tested COVID-19 positive in Manipur in a span of 24 hours, the state health department said on Saturday.

The new positive cases included one each from Imphal East, Bishnupur and Senapati, a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room stated. 

While the death toll remained 374, five more recoveries pushed the cumulative number of recovered cases to 28,944. With it, the number of active cases is 58 and the state's recovery rate reached 98.52 per cent, the release stated.

Meanwhile, 868 more persons have been administered COVID-19 vaccine in Manipur. The cumulative number of vaccinated people in the state has risen to 85,103, including 31,537 healthcare workers, the release added.
