Manipur Consumer Affairs Minister Th Satyabrata on Friday conveyed his greetings and warm wishes to the public on the occasion of Yaoshang (Holi) that falls on Sunday.

“Holi, the festival of colours, marks the triumph of good over evil, and reigniting the culture and tradition of the state with the onset of spring season. It calls for sowing the seeds of love, brotherhood and harmony amid the pandemic and other challenges on the way,” stated Th Satyabrata in his message.

He also made a public appeal to promote compassion, kindness and humanity towards each other for a better Manipur and bring inclusive development irrespective of hill-valley residents, caste, creed or religion.

“Let us join the nation in celebrating Holi under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi,” Satyabrata continued while also extending wishes for a happy and prosperous 5-day Yaoshang 2021.
