Nagaland: COVID-19 positive cases rise to 193

With the detection of new COVID-19 positive cases, the total number of active cases in the state rose to 90 while the other 103 patients have recovered from the disease.

Nagaland on Wednesday reported 12 more cases of COVID-19, in addition to the two cases reported in the morning, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 193, official sources said.

The 12 new cases were reported from Mon quarantine centre, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom posted on Twitter.

"Another 12 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 238 samples tested. All cases are from Mon QC," the minister tweeted.

With the detection of new COVID-19 positive cases, the total number of active cases in the state rose to 90 while the other 103 patients have recovered from the disease, the health minister said.

Two new cases were reported in the morning. The two new cases were among the 314 samples tested, the minister said, adding that one case was reported from Dimapur quarantine centre while the other case was reported from Tuensang quarantine centre.

"2 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 314 samples tested. 1each from Dimapur QC and Tuensang QC," the minister tweeted on Wednesday morning.

On Tuesday, Nagaland reported two COVID-19 positive cases, taking the total number of cases in the state to 179.
