JEE MAIN 2021: Admission criteria for BArch degree course relaxed

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, admission eligibility for BArch degree course has been relaxed for academic session 2021-2022, the education minister tweeted.

The eligibility criteria for students seeking admission in Bachelor of Architecture has been relaxed in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has said.

“In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, admission eligibility for BArch degree course has been relaxed for academic session 2021-2022. Minimum requirement of 50% in PCM and aggregate of 10+2 is relaxed to only pass in Class 12 with PCM subjects/10+3 Diploma with Mathematics,” the minister tweeted.

The earlier criteria for admission in BArch was a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the qualifying examination along with valid NATA or JEE scores.

The Joint Entrance Examination – Main is an all-India examination conducted by the National Testing Agency. JEE Main 2021 is conducted four times - in February, March, April, and May.

Meanwhile, JEE Main 2021 March - NTA has released the provisional JEE Main 2021 answer key for March session. NTA concluded the last day of JEE Main 2021 March exam on March 18.

Students can also download the JEE Main answer key 2021 for March by coaching centres now. NTA JEE Main March 2021 exam was conducted by NTA from March 16 to 18.
