HSLC Results: UARSoM congratulates students

UARSoM appealed to the government and public to support the private schools.

United Association of Recognised Schools of Manipur (UARSoM) congratulated all the students of both hills and valley who have passed the HSLC examination on Tuesday.

A release stated that the contribution of private schools have always been respected and appreciated by the public. The result this year added the trust on private schools; however, the people on top seemed to not appreciate much, it stated. This is unfortunate for the private schools, it added.

The private schools of both hills and valleys are trying their best to lift up the education sector of the state, the release said. The effort is seen every year through the result but the government seemed to not acknowledge it, it said. The schools managed as much as it can with little funds they have with no help from the government, the release said. It also gave employment to many, it added.

UARSoM appealed to the government and public to support the private schools. Suggestions are most welcomed and will work towards a better, improved education system for a better society, it added.

KAL celebrates its foundation day

Meanwhile, the Iramdam Kanba Apunba Lup (IKAL) celebrated its seventh foundation day on Friday at its office premises under the theme of paying respects to the mothers bearing many children in the state.

A release stated that IKAL has been working for the increase in the population of Manipuri. The mothers who can bear many children are respected as someone who will help in continuing the generation, it stated.

In a competition, mothers bearing the most children have been awarded first, second and third place accordingly, it stated. A sum of Rs 15,000, Rs 13,000 and Rs 10,000 has been given to the first, second and third place respectively, it stated. In addition a consolation prize of Rs 5000 is given to five mothers, it stated. A certificate is also given to each mother, it added.

IKAL said that this year as well, 25 mothers are selected and given the prize as a part of its foundation day, it stated.
