A team comprising 11 body builders left Imphal to represent Manipur in the 11th Men's Junior/Masters Divyang Body Building and 2nd Junior Women's Sports Model Physique/Ladies Women's Sports Model Physique National Championship 2021 to be held at Ludhiana, Punjab from March 20-21.
The nine bodybuilders who will be competing in the body building championship are H Telheiba Singh (55kg), L Roshan Singh (60kg), Md Shahabaz Shah (65kg), Chingkheinganba A (70kg), Kh Mohd Ashaad Khan (75kg), P Medhajit Singh (75kg plus) in the Men's Junior Body Building, and N Jayanta Singh who will participate in the Open category of Divyang Body Building.
Jenika Naorem and VS Lungchanwon will be competing in the Open category of Junior Women's Sports Model Physique.
According to a statement from general secretary AMBBA, Y Sunanta, S Dhruba Singh and N Ranjit Singh are the officials who are the manager and coach of the team, respectively.
