Nagaland on Tuesday reported two fresh cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 179, official sources said.
The new cases were among the 316 samples tested, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom posted on Twitter.
Both cases are reported from Kohima quarantine centre, the minister said.
"2 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 316 samples tested. All cases are from Kohima QC," the minister tweeted.
Of the total 179 COVID-19 positive cases reported in the state, 87 are active cases. The other 92 patients have recovered from the disease.
On Monday, Nagaland reported nine COVID-19 positive cases, taking the total number of cases in the state to 177.
