World Hearing Day 2021: Free screening camp to be held at RIMS

World Hearing Day is held on March 3 every year to create awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care.

In connection with observation of World Hearing Day, the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, will conduct a Free Hearing Screening Camp under the theme ‘Hearing Care for All! – Screen, Rehabilitate, Communicate’ on Wednesday at BASLP (ENT department).

World Hearing Day is held on March 3 every year to create awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care across the world. Every year, the World Health Organization (WHO) decides the theme and develops evidence-based advocacy materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, banners, infographics and presentations, among others.
