Blood donation camp held

Forty-six CRPF personnel, including officers and jawans from the 69 battalion took part and donated 46 units of blood.

A blood donation camp was organised by 69 Bn CRPF in coordination with a team of doctors headed by Dr K Rachandra Singh from RIMS Hospital in which 46 personnel, including officers and jawans from the battalion took part and donated 46 units of blood, office of the commandant – 69 Bn CRPF, stated on Sunday

The blood donation camp was successfully organised in the presence of commandant 69 Battalion CRPF Bajrang Lal and Commandant–86 Battalion Kalyan Singha along with CMO (SG) Dr Abdul Nazar, and civilians from the nearby areas who have also witnessed the occasion to make them aware of the importance of the cause, it stated.  Bajrang Lal also gave words of encouragement to the officers and jawans who donated their blood and stressed upon similar humanitarian activities to be carried out at regular intervals, it added.
