Nagaland's COVID-19 active caseload dips below 10

Three more patients recovered from the viral infection in Nagaland on Sunday.

The COVID-19 active caseload in Nagaland on Sunday dipped below the 10-mark as three more patients recovered from the viral infection, state Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said.

The health minister said in a tweet that the state's cumulative number of recovered cases surged to 11,949 with the new recoveries.

Meanwhile, the state's tally reached 12,200 with one more positive case from Kohima.

"Update! 1 +ve case of #COVID-19 reported today at Kohima. 3 +ve patients of COVID-19 have recovered. Total +ve cases- 12200 Recovered- 11949 Active Cases- 7" the health minister tweeted.

In Nagaland, a total of 81 COVID-19 patients have died so far. However, 10 deaths are not due to COVID-19, the state health department said, adding that 152 cases have migrated to other states.
