The High Court of Manipur Chief Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar in the presence of Justice LS Jamir, Justice Kh Nobin, Justice MV Muralidaran and Justice A Bimol e-released the High Court of Manipur Rules 2019 and High Court of Manipur (video conferencing of court) Rules 2020 in the court hall number 1 on Monday.
During the e-release function, the Chief Justice expressed gratitude to all the rules committee members of both the High Court Rules and High Court of Manipur (video conferencing) Rules 2020 for their diligent and valuable contribution in bringing out the same.
Chief Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar further exhorted the judges of both High Court and district courts and advocates to use the video conferencing rules to conduct cases during the challenging period of COVID-19 pandemic so that state judiciary may continue to uphold and deliver justice in the state of Manipur and access to justice is made meaningful and effective.
The e-release function was attended by the High Court Bar Association president; AMBA president, advocates bar members and officers of the registry.
