A total of 19 students of classes X, XI and XII of Parping Government Higher Secondary School, Pherzawl district were given career counselling and screening session for NDA/TES entries by COB of Aina Battalion, Assam Rifles under the aegis of 27 Sector AR.

The students were enlightened about various methods for joining the armed forces as officers and soldiers. The students were given assurance for further assistance by the AR personnel who also highlighted various entry schemes for girls in the defence force.

After the session, the students showed immense enthusiasm to join defence forces and the gathering present conveyed a heartfelt gratitude to the troops of AR for organising the programme.
