The Manipur Olympic Association (MOA) has condoled the sudden demise of Y Budhachandra Singh (BC Singh) at his residence at Lairikyengbam Leikai, Imphal East on Friday evening.
The 77-year-old BC Singh who had been associated with sports movement, had in depth knowledge of the various games and sports, MOA recalled. He was also a former general secretary of MOA.
In the meantime, the Manipur Cycling Association has also condoled the demise of Y Budhachandra Singh, who was a founder secretary of the Association.
In an emergency executive committee meeting, the members expressed deep sorrow and remembered his dedication, stating that a fine administrator has been lost forever.
The meeting also observed a two-minute silence in memory of the departed soul.
