G Abha claimed the champion title of the U-12 Girls Single event beating Angelica by 4-0 and 4-1 mini sets in the 40th State Open Cash Prize Tennis Championship 2021, played at Officer's Club, Lamphelpat.
As for the U-12 Boys Single final, Dhanraj beat Soham K by 4-1, 2-4 and 4-1 mini sets to lay his hand on the champion title.
T Rajiv will take on Karnajit Singh in the final of the U-14 Boys Single on Saturday. In the semi-final matches, T Rajiv beat Dhanaraj by 4-0 and 4-1 mini sets while Karnajit Singh beat Joshua by 4-0 and 4-1 mini sets.
Ashwajit moved into the semi-final of the Men's Single beating Y Azad Khan by 6-1 and 6-1 sets while Joshua Pamei also made it to the last four stages beating Beckar by 6-3 and 6-3 sets. Bicky S beat Luching by 7-6 (7-5) and 6-2 sets to sail into the semi-final as well.
