Hnahringkhu YC lifted the champion title of the ADC Chandel Trophy Super Division League 2020-21 played at Maha Union Ground, Chandel on Thursday.

In the final match, Hnahringkhu YC and Tampi FC put up a strong fight for the all important title but the former had better luck during the shoot from penalty mark by 4-1 goals after both teams were locked with 1-1 goal in normal time.

Tampi FC looked positive in the beginning as they came up with the early goal from Shetngam in the 2nd minute of play to dictate terms in the game. But seeking a loose moment, Hnahringkhu YC got their chance when Wolnihring pushed forward and slammed home the equaliser in the 32nd minute of play to level 1-1 goals in the first half.

Both teams played safe in the second half but made quick counter attacks whenever opportunity was available but failed to consolidate their position, resulting to shoot from penalty mark.

In the subsequent penalty kicks off, Hnahringkhu YC proved effective with Joanand, Warkham and Thaniwar converting their kick to perfection while Tampi player Famous, Phowlson and Ningphahman wasted all their kicks.

The man of the final match was given to Shetngam of Tampi FC while the best goalkeeper title was awarded to Nikerson W of Liwa Sarei YC, best player title to Thaniwar of Hnahringkhu YC and the best fair play was awarded to Tampi FC team.
