The Nehru Yuva Kendra Imphal East (NYKIE), Manipur on Tuesday stated that applications are invited for awards to outstanding youth clubs at district, state and national levels for the year 2020-21.
At the district level, the winners will be awarded a sum of Rs 25,000; it will be Rs 75,000 at the state level and at the national level there will be three awards of Rs.3 00,000, Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 50,000, a release issued by NYKIE stated.
It stated that all the youth clubs which are affiliated to NYKIE registered under the Society's Registration Act 1960 or State Corresponding Act of State or Union Territories working in the field voluntarily are eligible to apply for the award.
Besides, the youth clubs who have helped the village panchayats in creating assets in the village in a cooperative and voluntary manner, and in building up organisational skills are eligible to apply for the award, it stated.
The release mentioned the last date for submission of the application form is February 12. Further detailed information can be collected from the office of the NYKIE, Porompat during office hours on any working days, it added.
