Pahulasi Mayaikoibi bagged three gold medals in the 16th State Thang-Ta Championship 2021 which got underway at Thang-Ta Shanglen at Yumnam Huidrom, Imphal West.

The tournament was formally opened by deputy director YAS Th Tomba Singh along with president HLTTA Manipur H Premkumar Singh and Sintakpurel Kha Manipur Thang-Ta Academy Wabagai Y Amumacha Singh.

In the Junior Girls Phunaba Ama-75kg event, Ingalsana Th of Pahulasi Mayaikoibi claimed the gold medal while in the Junior Boys Phunaba Ama-56kg event, Leishemba Yengkhomba and E Sunson Singh in-80kg event, both of Pahulasi Mayaikoibi fetched gold medals.

A total of 759 players and officials from 42 Thang-Ta units including Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur, Kakching, Jiribam, Ukhrul and Thoubal District took part in the championship.
