Liwa Khullen YC held on Kapaam DC by 2-2 goals in last league match of ADC Chandel Trophy Super Division Football League 2020-21, organised by DSA Chandel at Maha Union Ground.
However Kapaam DC still made it to the semi-finals by virtue of its earlier wins and will face Tampi FC in the first semi-final while Liwa Sarei YC will take on Hnahringkhu YC in the second semi-final on February 9.
The last league match saw, Kapaam DC taking the lead in the 7 minute from Thumtha but Liwa Khullen were quick to reply with Lerphangam fetched the equaliser in the 17 minute to level 1-1 goal in the first half. Liwa Khullen enjoyed the lead in the second half with Lerphangam netting his second goal in 52 minute.
However, a late minute surge from Kapaam DC fetched a rich dividend when Mosha got the equaliser in the 90 plus 3 minute, to push them through to the semi final.
