Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) on Friday appealed to the state government to announce the schedule for the Council and Board examinations to pacify the restless minds of the students.
DESAM appreciated the government for reopening the schools for Class 9 and above as it has given new hopes to the students, a release stated.
It is unfortunate that the government had issued an order on January 20 to halt the admission process for the academic session 2021, it stated while appealing to the government to take up measures for smooth run of the academic session 2021 without any interventions.
DESAM urged the state government to consult the stakeholders of the state if the government wants to fix the academic calendar of BOSEM and COHSEM similar to the academic calendar of CBSE.
Considering the students who are willing to take part in competitive examination, DESAM appealed to the state government to fix the examination date of class 10 and 12 before the scheduled date of CBSE examination.
