The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the datesheets for Class 10 and Class 12 exams on February 2, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said.

The union education minister made the announcement in a virtual interaction with the presidents and secretaries of CBSE Sahodaya Schools on Thursday.

The education minister interacted with presidents and secretaries of CBSE Sahodaya School complexes to discuss changes in the CBSE curriculum for the 2021-22 academic year, in view of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Earlier, the minister announced that the CBSE board exams will be held from May 4 to June 10 and the practical exams will begin from March 1. The result will be announced by July 15.

The CBSE board exams will be held in a pen-and-paper mode which will have 33 per cent internal choice questions. Also, the syllabus has been reduced to 30 per cent.
