Gender sensitisation programme held in Senapati

MSCW members interacted with women from the Theiva village on various issues and challenges faced by them.

Theiva Village Shinao Long Senapati district and Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) on Friday organised a gender sensitisation programme at Theiva village youth hall, Senapati district.

Members of the commission interacted with women from the said village on various issues and challenges faced by them, a release signed by member of MSCW Chongsin Koireng stated.

It stated that MSCW is grateful to have reached Theiva village which is one of the interior parts of Senapati district and shares a border with western part of Ukhrul district.

Chairperson MSCW professor Binota Meinam, chairperson Theiba Village Shinao Long Rose H Luiyi and members of MSCW T Chuongsoin Koireng and social worker Leishingam Hungphun Luiyi attended the function as chief guest , president and guest of honours, it added.
