Nagaland to reopen schools for classes 6-12 from February 8

SOPs and guidelines for the reopening of schools will be issued shortly by the state government.

Schools in Nagaland will be reopened for classes 6-12 with effect from February 8, according to the school education department.

Conveying the governments approval to the principal director of school education, under secretary to the Nagaland government Veduta Thira said that SOPs and guidelines for the reopening of schools will be issued shortly by the state government.

Educational institutions in the state remained closed the nationwide lockdown in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Manipur, all colleges and schools for classes 9-12 will be reopened from January 27 by observing SOP.
