Manipur lost to Bihar by 9 wickets in Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy

Manipur in their last match will face Nagaland on January 19 at TI Murugappa Ground, Chennai at 12 pm.


Bihar registered 9 wickets win over Manipur in the Syed Mustaq Ali T-20 Trophy (Plate Group) played at Sri Ramachandra Medical College Ground.

Manipur in their innings made 105 runs for 8 wickets from 20 overs with skipper Rk Rex top scoring with 29 runs from as many deliveries while Jayanta Singh got 15 runs from 22 balls. Langlonyamba with 12 runs and Shah made 10 runs.

Bihar bowler Amod Yadav was the most successful one claiming 4 wickets for 17 runs from 4 over while Samar Quadri fetched 2 wickets and A Raj and Asutosh Aman chipped in with 1 wicket each.

In reply, Bihar reached the target utilising 17.1 over at the expense of 1 wicket. Rathour spearheaded the chase with an unbeaten knock of 60 runs from 40 balls while Baul Kumar too remained not out with 31 runs. Manipur bowler Denin claimed the lone wicket
