COVID-19 claimed one more life in Assam, taking the death toll to 1,065 on Wednesday while the cumulative number of COVID-19 confirmed cases has reached 2,16,743, the state health department said.
The state reported a total of 1,347 coronavirus positive patients who have died due to other illness and total recoveries of 2,12,672 COVID-19 patients.
As per the latest updates, 55 more people tested positive for the Coronavirus. With it, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in the state has reached 3,003, while three patients have migrated out of the state.
The state has so far conducted a total number of 62,26,872 Coronavirus tests.
Of the 33 districts in the state hit by Coronavirus, Kamrup Metro has reported the highest number of confirmed cases so far at 20663, including 6008 active cases. West Karbi Anglong reported the lowest at 39 till Wednesday.
