HVA Heikrujam moves into the semi final beating SYDC Santhel by 3-2 sets in the 1st Md Jalaluddin (Ex-MLA) Memorial Volleyball Tournament 2021 played at Kiyamgei Takhok Makha Volleyball Ground.
It was tough match for both the team as they go neck to neck in every set but HVA took the first oppurtunity winning the opening game with 25-18 point. However SDYC jumped back strongly taking the second set by 25-22 points.
HVA rise again in the third set with 25-13 point but SDYC replied fittingly with 25-14 points to level 2-2 game old.
However in the deciding game, it was HVA who volleyed hard with 15-12 point for the victory, enroute to the semi final. However despite the loss, SDYC still makes it to the semi final by virtue of its earlier wins.
The semi final matches of the tournament will be played on Thursday with YMDO Heirangoithong taking on SDYC in the first match while HVA will face KLYSC Kachikhul in the second match.
