The Manipur State Commission for Women on Tuesday clarified that the draft policy on ‘draft on gender and budgeting’ is available at the commission website www.manipurwomencommission.gov.in.
On Monday, the commission notified that it will organise a public hearing on the draft on gender policy and budgeting at Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) on January 16 from 11 am wherein it provided a wrong website www.manipurstatecommission.gov.in where the policy has been uploaded.
The Commission had also notified all concerned, NGOs, CSOs and individuals/intellectuals who work on gen-der issues to extend suggestions or objections on ‘Draft on gender policy and budgeting’ formulations which have been submitted to the government on September 15, 2020, regarding health, education and unorganised sectors of all the state.
