Late D Henkholet Memorial Churachandpur District Third Division League concluded on Tuesday with the final match played between Vengnuan United and Nunlui Club.
The final match ended with a draw of 1-1 and decided for penalty in which Nunlui Club won with a score of 6-5 in their favour.
The tournament was organised by CDSA with contribution from the donors.
In the final match on Tuesday, Jangkhotinthang of Nunlui Club scored in the first 15 minutes of play which stood good till the first half but in the 50 minutes of the play in the second half, the penalty was awarded in favour of Vengnuam United and Minlian Tonsing (Jersey no.10) hit the need with the score tied 1-1 till regulation time.
In the 16 Team Third Division play, Lalremsiam of Junior FC was awarded the emerging player and divisional match top scorer was awarded to Douminlian of Lamka Sports Club. The best goalkeeper award was given to Zamtansang of Vengnuam United.
